1,700 Cheltenham homes and businesses lose power
The BBC reports that several roads in the centre of Cheltenham have been shut after a fire at an electricity sub-station in Royal Well Lane.
It is believed that the fire broke out in a switch box and vandalism is suspected. Electricity supplies to all but around 300 customers were restored within 25 minutes of the fire breaking out
